Hi, this is Lidia, still out here in the land of smog and too many oranges. Ruwart's candidacy is very exciting, although with all the additions since--
Gravel, Barr(?) and Ventura (?) it's hard to keep track and I have to say I've been a Ventura supporter since 2002 so this is a hard one for me. At
least there's no questioning that she's been a Libertarian for many years (even if Root et al love to attack her as an anarchist).

I would agree that Mary is perhaps...

My name is John David Christensen. I'm a college history teacher and administrator in Vermont and vice-chair of the Vermont Libertarian Party. Indeed I
first heard about Mary Ruwart's candidacy for the LP presidential nomination at our state convention in late March. I visited her Web sites and this site
among others to learn what I could about Dr. Ruwart. For the first time since Ron Paul's withdrawal from the Republican presidential contest I was excited
by a candidate's...

You and I (and Ruwart, for that matter) have a lot in common: all three of us were active supporters of Ron Paul's presidential run (although I never
asked, I'm wondering now if the lateness of her decision to enter the race is related to Paul only suspending his campaign this month). Her ties with him
are longstanding and strong, and their disagreement on abortion has never gotten in the way of their mutual respect.

By the way, I agree with you that pro-choice RP...

How's it going? I'm Charles Hyde. I'm one of those potential Ron Paul converts you mentioned, Less. I first came across Mary Ruwart (and
libertarianism) after seeing Ron Paul in one of the CNN debates. I did some googling and came across Dr. Ruwart's "Short Answers to Tough Libertarian
Questions".

With Ron Paul presidential effort essentially over, I had to look for a backup candidate. Then I saw Less' post to the lpradicals group regarding this

I just joined, and don't have time for a complete introduction of myself right now, but I wholly look forward to promoting Mary Ruwart for president,
whatever the odds are of Barr, or Gravel being potential LP delegate vote-getters. Thanks for setting this site and forum pages up. Mary will be coming to
Orlando, Florida this weekend, and I will be helping her in promoting her campaign at the LPF convention.
